Chelan County held an open public hearing on December 3rd, 2008 The hearing examiner Andrew Kottkamp heard two different land use applications.
1. PD 2008-001: This is an application for a Planned Development and Major Subdivision known as the "The Nest". This application was submitted by our agency Morgan Picton & Associates requesting approval to subdivide ten (10) acres into eight (8) residential lots with 2.5 acres of open space. This Planned Development is located on the 400 block of Loope Ave Manson, WA. The current zoning is (RR 2.5) Rural Residential/Resource 2.5. Questions about this zoning click here. Our agency has been working on this application for sometime. Within the development a pedestrian trail will be created, protective covenants and energy conservative construction standards.

2. SDP 2008-012: This is an application for a Shoreline Substantial Development. This request is for construction of a 320 square foot single-use fixed pile pier and 2 large LWD (large woody debris) on Lake Chelan. The property is located uplake from 4016 SR 150 Manson, WA.
